Mechanical Design Engineer

THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT...

• You familiarize yourself with the mechanical systems and constructions of Ebusco buses, understanding their interactions and dependencies.
• You navigate and extract necessary information from our 3D CAD system (NX) and PLM system (Teamcenter).
• You acquaint yourself with various production assembly stations and mechanical installation methods to provide informed support.
• You translate technical information from the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) into practical assembly instructions for production teams.
• You actively participate in the engineering change process, including processing TRIs and ECRs into modified production assembly instructions.
• You collaborate with the engineering department in the Netherlands to discuss and create solutions for existing technical problems.
• You provide direct support to production teams on mechanical subjects, raising and solving TRIs, and determining when TRIs should be converted into ECRs for permanent BOM changes with engineering input from the Netherlands.
• You investigate mechanical system issues on buses as part of production support and devise effective solutions.
• You proactively identify and suggest improvements to the bus assembly process.
